"In essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty, in
all things charity." -- St. Augustine
Catholic Information Network (CIN) is a free computer bulletin
board and information service focusing on the Roman Catholic Church.
CIN was founded in August 1987 to welcome the Holy Father to San
Francisco. The founders of CIN dedicated this bulletin board to
propagating God's Word, embodied in the Roman Catholic Church, making
the information available to Catholics and non-Catholics alike. In
conjunction with hundreds of documents available for downloading,
Catholic Information Network also provides open-forum message bases
for user discussion. It is the belief of the CIN sponsors that an
open forum will foster spiritual growth and understanding in an
environment of charitable exchange and dialogue.

This message area is dedicated to answering questions about the
Catholic Church: its Faith, History, Practice, Customs, Moral values,
and any other question directly about something specifically Catholic.
Because of the logistics of the conference, responses from Fr.
Mateo will be posted every 1-2 weeks. Please allow a minimum of 2
weeks for a response from Fr. Mateo.
RESTRICTIONS: This is NOT a discussion area. Only messages to Father
Mateo concerning Catholic faith, morals, customs, practices, history,
etc. will be accepted. Messages between other individuals will be moved
to another more appropriate message area.
